Philalife Warranty
At Philalife, we provide up to 1 years warranty (The warranty period of some parts is 3 months or 6 months, refer to the manual for details.). In general, we will cover most problems of the system and all manufacturing flaws.
WARRANTY PERIOD AND TARGET AUDIENCE TERMS
The warranty would be registered automatically when the initial purchaser ordered in the online shop. So the warranty is under the INITIAL PURCHASER and would be started since the initial owner has received it.
All products do not accept transferable warranties, such as those purchased from the second-hand market.
Exceptions
The warranty will NOT cover the problems caused by any of the following causes :
1- Any misuse of the product, such as using the item for commercial/rental uses, play dangerous act, etc., riding on the abnormal road conditions
2- The product cannot be used for competition
3- The product has been in any accidents, such as traffic accidents
4- Warranty is not covered for general wear and tear. Wear and tear means that scratches, bumps, marks, scuffs, may occur however the item is still in full working order and does not warrant a repair or return.
5- The item has been ridden in the rain, has any water ingress, has been ridden by a rider over the recommended weight.
6- The product has been in extreme environment (including extreme temperature or humidity), extreme physical or electrical stress or interference, fluctuation or surges of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire, acts of God or other external causes
7- Anti-rust layer damage caused by misuse (the damage of anti-rust layer can lead to the corrosion and fracture of the parts).
8- This Limited Warranty does not cover: Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
9- Product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
10- Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from Assembly Instructions & Owners Manual;
11- Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source;
12- Starting or stopping too quickly (over-accelerating /over-decelerating)
13- Exceeding the maximum speed of the product
14- Climbing or descending hills to quickly
15- Any electrical and/or material damage or breakage not stemming from a manufactures defect.
In addition, with respect to the battery, this Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage:
Caused by charging by a battery charger not intended or appropriate for use with the Battery or the improper use of a battery charger;
Where any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering;
Where the Battery has been used in equipment other than the item for which it is specified;
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
- This Limited Warranty is non-transferable after the product’s initial sale.
- This Limited Warranty only covers parts due to manufacturer defect
- No unapproved modifications can be made to the product, its performance, or otherwise, in order for this Limited Warranty to remain in effect.
- Warranty is void if weather-related water damage is determined. The owner is responsible for storage and protection from the weather.
- This Limited Warranty does not cover minor surface blemishes, rips, tears, or other cosmetic damage due to normal use, or other intentional or unintentional damage to the product.
- This Limited Warranty will not cover any damage which results from the application of improper cleaners, solvents, or chemicals to the product, water damage, smoke or soot, or from exposure to the saltwater, sea breeze, or salt.
- This Limited Warranty will not cover any damage which results from aging, such as fading of paint, deterioration of plated surfaces, deterioration of rubber or plastics, or rusting.
- This Limited Warranty does not cover improper repair or misdiagnosis of problems.
- Damage due to misuse or neglect, use other than as specified in the Owner’s Manual, or use under abnormal conditions are not covered by this Limited Warranty.
- The warranty doesn’t cover consumable parts such as Wheels (Tyres, Spokes, or Punctures), Cables, Brake shoes, Headsets, Inner tubes, Rubber footrest, Handlebar grips, Paint, Rubber bungs, or Bottom brackets. We are not liable for any repairs which include tire punctures, wheels, disc brakes, scuffs, cable damage, reflective stickers, or broken parts caused by human error or any other external damage.
- In no event shall PhilaLife be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect, in connection with the purchase, use, or operation of the product. PhilaLife is not liable for property damage, personal injury, or death caused by misuse of the item.
Please take care and abide by local traffic laws when riding.
Warranty is void if your item shows visible signs of damage or has been misused beyond what is considered normal use, including water damage. Wear and tear are not covered under this warranty, only defects in craftsmanship.
Warranty Claims
All claims to this warranty must be submitted to contact@philalife.com. Proofs of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product are required with any warranty request. Before making a warranty claim, we suggest that you contact us at contact@philalife.com as there may be a simple fix for your problem. Valid warranty claims will be processed through Philalife within 1 year of initial purchase.
Philalife will not replace any part without first seeing photos or video of the damaged product. Customers need to provide us with evidence by email.
Please carefully follow our warranty process to minimize any delays:
- Describe the problem with your item in detail: What happened? When? How? Please also state your full order number.
- Tell us what steps you have already taken to resolve the issue.
- Send a clear photo or video showing the defect(s); these should be taken under good lighting.
REPAIR SERVICE
For repair service will only provide free replacement parts. We can bear the repair cost if the item is repaired by a local shop.
Philalife may provide parts and direct that you replace certain readily installable parts yourself. In most cases, we do not require you to send the defective parts back to us.
We will ship you a replacement part for your product. The replacement part will be accompanied by instructions on installation.
If you can't replace the defective parts yourself, Philalife can bear the repair cost if the item is repaired by a local shop.

- Please be aware that warranty policies differ depending on the manufacturer. Please refer to the product manual for a more detailed explanation of the warranty.
- Please note that information regarding the expected range on a single charge on one of our e-vehicles is an estimate, not a guarantee. There are many factors that contribute to actual, real-world range for an e-vehicles battery such as age of the battery, temperature, level of assist, speed, payload, your weight and terrain. Given the right conditions, it is possible to get less than the expected minimum range or greater than the expected maximum range.
